Help Desk Unable to Process Password Resets Over The Phone Until Sept. 1st

Please be advised, as part of the Fiscal Year-End Closing business process of the College, beginning at 12:00 PM, Friday, August 30th, the Help Desk will be unable to process password resets over the phone.

During this time, please see our password self-service at www.sanjac.edu/password, or visit one of our Service Desks on site. Please visit www.sanjacits.org/campus-service-desks for more information about the Service Desks.

All services will be restored by 1:00 AM, Sunday, September 1, 2024.

  • Submit a Support Request Online (TDX Support Client Portal) - Need tech help? Use our self-service Client Portal to submit service requests and explore our knowledge base for self-help guides and troubleshooting tips for the fastest service.   • Visit Us on Campus (Campus Service Desks) - Prefer in-person help? Stop by one of our Campus Service Desks for assistance with password resets, MFA help, Wi-Fi issues, and Office 365 apps.

SJC Information Alert Friday, July 19

We are aware of the nationwide technology outage that is affecting some Microsoft Windows systems. San Jacinto College systems are not affected by this outage. All classes, operations and activities will proceed as scheduled. 

This is not a security incident or cyberattack, but rather an issue with a Crowdstrike content update. Crowdstrike is working with its customers to resolve the issue. 

Check your emails or the SJC Alert texts for any related updates.

SJC Will Resume All Classes and Operations on Monday, July 15

All San Jacinto College classes (on-campus and online), operations, activities and summer camps will resume as scheduled Monday, July 15, 2024. Visit SJC Alert for more information.

SJC Will Remain Closed Thursday, July 11 & Friday, July 12

COLLEGE CLOSURE: Due to post-Beryl recovery efforts, San Jacinto College will remain closed on Thursday, July 11, 2024 and Friday, July 12, 2024 for all classes (on-campus and online), operations, and activities. Visit SJC Alert for updates.

ITS Technical Support will resume operations when the College resumes regular operations on Monday, July 15, 2024. We appreciate your cooperation during this weather event.

Help Desk & Service Desk Suspending Operations on Friday, May 3

Greetings! 

To attend the Employee Celebration on May 3rd, the Help Desk and Campus Service Desks will be suspending operations on Friday, May 3, 2024 as follows:

  • Help Desk suspending operations 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

  • Campus Service Desks will be open 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. and closed the remainder of the day.

Multi-Factor Authentication For Students - Enroll Today!

On Monday January 23, ITS will begin a communication campaign requesting students to register in MFA.

The goal is to have all registered and paid students enrolled in MFA by Tuesday, March 21, after which all students will be required to use MFA to access Office 365 only off-campus.

This change will not affect student access to SOS and Blackboard.

ITS are offering weekly help sessions via Zoom for students who need assistance.
