This article covers how to sign in to your Outlook Mobile App with Microsoft Authenticator
Instructions
Open the Outlook app on your device.
Tap on the profile picture at the top left of the Outlook app.
Tap on the Settings gear icon at the bottom left.
Tap on your account under Mail Accounts.
Faculty/staff should see an @sjcd.edu mail account.
Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
Tap Delete.
Enter your SanJac employee email address. Then tap Continue.
You may be taken back to the Get Started screen. If so, just tap Get Started to get to the Add account screen.
Enter your SanJac employee email address. Faculty/staff should enter their @sjcd.edu email address.
Tap Continue.
Enter your College network password and then tap Sign In.
Enter your College network password.
Click Sign In.
An Approve sign in screen will appear asking you to approve the request using your Microsoft Authenticator app.
Don't have the Microsoft Authenticator app? View instructions on how to set up the Microsoft Authenticator app.
Open the notification or the Microsoft Authenticator app on your device.
Choose Approve if you recognize the sign-in attempt. Otherwise, choose Deny.
Use your phone’s PIN or your biometric key to complete the authentication. You're done!
Did your Outlook contacts get removed from your iPhone device?
Re-Add Outlook contacts to iPhone
Tap on the profile picture at the top left of the Outlook app.
Tap on the Settings gear icon at the bottom left.
Tap on your account under Mail Accounts.
Tap the slider next to Save Contacts to save your Outlook contacts to this device.
Please note that if you have personal contacts saved to your Apple device, you will only be able to synchronize your Outlook contacts with one device. For example, if you have personal contacts on your iPhone and iPad, you will not be able to synchronize Outlook contacts with both devices.
Tap Save to save the contacts to your device.
Depending on your device type, the verbiage may be slightly different.
If prompted, tap OK to allow Outlook to access your device contacts.
You’re done! It may take a few minutes for your contacts to synchronize to your device.

Re-Add Outlook contacts to Android
Tap on the profile picture at the top left of the Outlook app.
Tap on the Settings gear icon at the bottom left.
Tap on your account under Mail accounts.
Tap the slider next to Sync contacts to save your Outlook contacts to this device.
If prompted, tap Allow to allow Outlook to access your device contacts.
You’re done! It may take a few minutes for your contacts to synchronize to your device.
