Malwarebytes is installed on all College computers. Malwarebytes is a virus, malware, and spyware scanning program.
To further enhance the security of the College computing environment, this tool will be installed on Office computers (PC & Mac), Classroom / Lab computers, loaner and checkout laptops.
What to Expect?
Malwarebytes will run a scan daily in the background without interrupting your work.
Should you visit a malicious website, you will see a message similar to the one below.
In addition, the following pop up will appear:
Click Close to remove the message.
If Malwarebytes detects a virus or malware on your computer, you may receive a message similar to this one:
We recommend that you restart your computer as soon as you are able to.
Legitimate Websites
If Malwarebytes reports a legitimate website as malicious, please report this to TechSupport@sjcd.edu.
May I Scan my computer?
You may scan your College-issued computer manually by right clicking the icon in the system tray.
